  • Led the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program from pilot phase to production.
  • Communicated with the business side to determine client needs and manage tasks for project management around those needs and SLAs.
  • Created a framework to scale the CBM project with less coding and time for each additional CBM added and increased the system's test coverage and stability.
  • Worked towards creating a more unified UX on the front end by updating UI and workflows within the UI. Leveraging company assets and design systems along with React's hooks API, Flow.js, Redux, and Relay integration. Develop reusable custom hooks with smart and dumb components throughout the team.

The Charles Schwab Corporation

Software Engineer V (Senior) | Denver, CO | August 2018 - April 2021

  • Engaged in a highly collaborative environment with team members to optimize solutions and business workflows to meet our business partners' needs.
  • Led a team that decreased the monolith application's build and setup time from 20 minutes to 2 minutes to strangle a legacy application to a reactive PaaS application.
  • Designed a homegrown service level testing plugin for our CI/CD pipeline to add coverage and automation to our PaaS applications saving developers up to 15 minutes per build cycle. Gathered and correlated metrics via telemetry from both legacy and modern applications to provide real-time feedback to our on-call team members saving countless hours in debugging. Reverse engineered applications that have lost source code and documentation to understand business rules and non-functional requirements at that time.
  • Taught, mentored, and onboarded new members onto the team and provided leadership to them as they grew on the team. Leading to a reduction in time by half to onboard.
  • Led a UI redesign in React.js where senior engineers used me as a reference on React development. Integrating React Hooks API, Flux, Redux, Typescript, and a custom data layer to pull back data.
